Budding naturalists and outdoor adventurers will love exploring more than 550 acres of environmental preserve. Campers gain valuable knowledge of the natural world through hands-on exploration of the Nature Center ponds, woodlands, and meadows. If you’re curious about how comic books or manga are made, or if you have a story that you want to tell, or even if you just enjoy drawing, then this camp is for you. Director and critically-acclaimed writer/artist Dave Chisholm will discuss the many topics related to this discipline including story structure, script writing, character design–and, of course, there will be LOTS of time dedicated to drawing comics! Students are expected to bring a sketchbook or tablet as well as favored drawing utensils. Please no liquid media (watercolors, acrylic paint, inkpots, etc.)

Kippewa Point is a traditional, two-week camp experience for girls ages 6-15! Our warm and nurturing environment offers girls a classic camp experience that has a set beginning, middle and end. Trolls The Musical JR. is based on the irreverent DreamWorks Animation movie franchise and features a colorful, wondrous world populated by hilariously unforgettable characters. The show follows the overly optimistic Trolls, constantly with a song on their lips, and the comically pessimistic Bergens, who are only happy when they have Trolls in their stomach.

For 100 years, Camp Stella Maris has been a home away from home for campers to try new and exciting things, challenge themselves, and make friends that will last a lifetime. Campers unplug for the week and experience the excitement of an entire summer in just six days. Our overnight campers sleep in one of our 21 cabins while Day Campers share the facilities during the day. Shaving cream wars, mudslides, and campfires are some CSM classics that campers are sure to love.

Main Camp is Falling Creek’s premier session. Four weeks allows time for our camp community to bond and strong friendships to be formed. Campers in 2nd-10th grades experience personal growth as they build on successes each week. Longer trips are offered and opportunities for leadership are a central focus.
