Big Fat Messy Art Camp

These are week long camps that are held eight weeks throughout the summer for children ages 5 to 12 years. We also have camps during their Winter and Spring breaks. There are no registration fees! During the Summer we have the 5 to 8 year olds in one group and 9 to 12 in another group. Camps are week long Monday-Friday with 8 weeks to choose from over the summer. Full day is 9:30-3:30, extended care is from 9:00-5:00, you can also choose half day morning or afternoon.
At our camp, your child will be able to express their creative side through a variety of art projects. Campers will use different, exciting mediums including: acrylics, clay, gouache, watercolor, marker, pastels, colored pencil and more. Camps are week long Monday-Friday with 8 weeks to choose from over the summer. Full day is 9:30-3:30, extended care is from 9:00-5:00, you can also choose half day morning or afternoon.
Items to Bring:
A smock/old shirt One snack & drink for half day campers. Two snacks with drinks & a lunch with a drink for full day campers. If weather permits, we will go outside during our break. Please apply sunscreen prior to arriving at camp.

Week 7: 8/10 – 8/14
Week 8: 8/17 – 8/21
Camp Hours:
Morning: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Lunch: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Full Day: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Extended Care for Full Day: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (2 hours more a day)
In 2024 we implemented a new policy, when you put your child on hold we will put a date of 2 weeks from that day to mail or stop in with the registration form, required NYS vaccination forms and check payment. Everything needs to be handed in at once. You will not receive a phone call, when the 2 weeks is up your name will be removed from the list in order to give others a chance at that spot. We have 7 full day spots, 8 AM & 8 PM spots available for each week in each age group.
Cancellation Policy
All camps must be paid in full at time of registration. Cancellations made up to FOUR weeks prior to camp will receive a full refund less a $10 administration fee; no refunds for cancellations made after the four week deadline (medical exceptions). Behavior problems deemed sufficiently disruptive will result in a child’s removal from the program. No refunds are made in these cases. Some people can write off camps as day care on their taxes. We will provide the federal tax ID# of the Art Stop LLC on the receipt. The customer is responsible for picking up their receipts if paid by phone or mail. We can email your receipt at time of payment from our POS system.
