The Hochstein School
Welcome to Summer at Hochstein and the wonderful array of offerings we have in store! Our summer program provides an ideal time to try something new or to keep those skills fresh for fall! Individual lessons are available in all orchestral instruments—along with composition, guitar, harp, percussion, piano, wind instruments, voice, and both Suzuki strings and traditional string classes. Our popular camps include: Arts in Action Mini-Camp– a special camp for children ages 30 months through 4 years! Arts in Action camps for 4-10 year olds. Junior and Senior Flute Camps – a collaborative offering with the Rochester Flute. String Jam, Percussion Camp, Composer’s Club, and Rock Camp are other summer time favorites.
NEW! This summer: Comics & Music Camp combines two passions of our faculty member and master musician and graphic cartoonist Dave Chisholm; writer/artist of the graphic novel Instrumental. For our adult students – as music education isn’t only for children! – we introduce the Adult String Experience. Spotlight Theatre Arts
The Spotlight Theatre Performing Arts Studio is dedicated to the education and advancement of Performing Arts for teens and kids around the area with a focus on musical theatre performance (singing, acting, dancing). Eastman Community Music School
The Eastman Community Music School offers a variety of day programs and overnight music camps for middle and high-school students.Camps at Eastman offer something for all ages and abilities: Adventure Music Camp for Middle Schoolers, Eastman Experience: Summer Classical Studies and Summer Jazz Studies for High School Students, a High School Wind Ensemble Workshop, Baroque workshops, and New Horizons Orchestra Camp.

Bach to Rock Summer Music Camps
Bach to Rock’s Music Camps run each week all summer long and during school breaks for all ages and levels! We offer Rock Band (ages 7+), Glee Club (ages 6+), Rock City World Tour (ages 4-7), Beat Refinery DJ Camp (ages 10+) and Recording Arts/Pro-Tools (ages 10+) camps. Our camps are designed for students to work extensively with our highly qualified teachers to learn how to play their instrument of choice, develop a band, learn to play songs they love and have the opportunity to write and create their own music. Each weekly camp culminates in a performance for friends/family on our stage and an opportunity to record in our studio! Full or half day camps are available. No experience necessary. Roberts Community School
Conveniently located on the Roberts Wesleyan College campus, the Roberts Community Music School has exciting summer musical opportunities for families on the West side of Rochester. The RCMS is offering two 7-week Early Childhood Classes, Piano Discoveries, and a Ukulele Choir. Want private music lessons to learn a new instrument or keep your playing chops up over summer break? Lessons are available for piano, voice, string, woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. You can choose between 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons.
