La Petite École is a French Preschool for children 2 1/2 to 5 years of age; we play, dance, sing, act and learn French. We use expressive language arts and language activities. They are specifically structured for young children so they can absorb and utilize the French language in their everyday lives. Studies shows introducing a second language early in your child's life will help them achieve superior phonetic skills in English vocabulary and reading. Little America is the only NY State licensed English-Italian Bilingual Day Care in Pittsford.

Run by a native Italian family, Little America provides a warm and loving environment for children to learn and grow. We’re committed to offer early education programs while following Mentessori’s method (self-directed activities, hands-on activities, sensory and collaborative play). Kids will be exposed to Italian language and culture while doing selected indoor activities, through music and cooking, and when playing outdoors.

We offer programs to kids aged 2 to 5, afterschool programs to children 6-12 and summer camps.

We’re open from Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm.

We provide homemade breakfast, lunch, and snacks!
