Wickham Farms, located on Route 250 in Penfield, has tons of fall family fun! 3-acre corn maze opens in mid-August. Wickham's corn maze is KidsOutAndAbout's recommendation as a perfect starter corn maze for kids! (It's not too overwhelming.)

Long Acre Farms
Located in Macedon, NY, Long Acre Farms has what is known as the most challenging maze in the Rochester area....during the day AND at night. Plus the Animal Track maze has been added for our younger guests. The Barnbuster tickets give you 2 mazes, hayrides and Back 40 fun.

The last weekend in September through the last weekend in October, The Garden Factory, on Buffalo Road in Gates, invites you to join our Fall Family Fun activities, 11:00am to 4:00pm. Bristol Mountain Skyride
Bristol Mountain Skyride! Enjoy the beautiful autumn colors of the Finger Lakes from the Comet Express chairlift to the summit of Bristol Mountain. This tranquil 15-20 minute ride is for people of all ages to experience the Bristol Hills and the valley below in all its splendor Saturdays and Sundays 12pm-4pm + Columbus Day.
Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures
At Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures we have 2 courses that are specifically designed for kids aged 4-7. Watch your kid gain confidence as they navigate, balance, and zip their way through the trees. Both courses are located closer to the ground and use a different harness system that is just as safe but less complicated for younger children to use. If your child has any difficulties there are staff members on the course at all times to help them to work through the elements.

Halloween and Fall Foliage Trolley Rides at the New York Museum of TransportationSaturday, October 21 and Sundays September 17 – October 29
All aboard for the Halloween Trolley Express on Saturday, October 21! Ride the vintage trolley car to the Pumpkin Patch where you'll decorate a free baby pumpkin and enjoy delicious cider and donuts. In the museum there's trick-or-treating in Halloween decorated trolley cars! Special prices prevail and reservations are required.
What better way to enjoy the beauty of autumn in western New York State than from the window of an authentic 90-year-old electric trolley car! Rides operate every half-hour, starting at 11:30 a.m., and are included with admission to the museum ($8 adults, $7 seniors 65+, $6 youths age 3 – 12). No reservations are required for Fall Foliage Trolley Rides, operating Sundays only, September 17 through October 29.
Al Sigl Walkabout
Make tracks at the Al Sigl Community WalkAbout on Sunday, October 30th inside Eastview Mall to help over 55,000 kids and adults with special needs in our community. Celebrate abilities and inclusion while enjoying Halloween-themed fun including candy stations, face painting, games, family-friendly musical entertainment, and more. Donate or raise $20 or more per adult or $40 per family and receive a t-shirt, breakfast, raffle entry, and costume contest entry. Children participate for FREE. PICK YOUR OWN APPLES
One great way to get your kids to eat more fruit -- and introduce them to the subtleties of sweet/tangy tastes -- is by taking them apple picking to a local orchard. This link has places to go and things to do for a day in the orchard all around Rochester and the Finger Lakes.
