Fall means harvest season, and it brings out the best in our area farms. It's a
wonderful, low-cost way to get outside in the fresh air, and get active with your families.

Wickham Farms, Penfield, NY
|Wickham Farms, located on Route 250 in Penfield, has tons of fall family fun! 3-acre corn maze opens in mid-August. In fall, take a kiddie train ride or a hay ride, jump on the jumping pillow, and find just the right pumpkin. Click here for our fall fun page for details.|
|Located in Macedon, NY, Long Acre Farms has what is known as the most challenging corn maze in the Rochester area... during the day AND at night, plus all kinds of wonderful fall activities in their Back 40.|
|Free Activities for families with children up to 3rd grade which include: The ABC’s of Agriculture Maze, No Left Turn Maze, Haunted House, The Fun House for Kids, Goat Petting Zoo, Pumpkin Slide, and many fall scenes to enjoy. One great way to get your kids to eat more fruit -- and introduce them to the subtleties of sweet/tangy tastes -- is by taking them apple picking to a local orchard. This link has places to go and things to do for a day in the orchard all around Rochester.

There's nothing better than a family hike for taking wonderful fall photos! A free way to get your kids out and about and active in our beautiful countryside. Let them see, let them smell, let them touch, and let them remember.
