Rochester-area YMCAMany camps this summer at nine locations throughout Rochester
Visit any of the Y's nine local branches for information on great summer camps for sports and physical fitness, starting in late June and continuing through early September.
We are the largest and friendliest Indoor Rock Climbing, High Ropes Course and Indoor Play Center in North America, and we have GREAT summer day camps. If you can climb a ladder you can climb at Rock Ventures! A full-sized ropes course is aso available and part of each day's camp experience. Children traverse, climb, laugh and celebrate with us. Martial Arts America
Martial Arts America offers 4 full weeks of summer camp: July 11-15 and August 8 – 12 at our Brighton location, July 18-22 and August 1 – 5 at our Penfield location. Our exciting camps are geared for children from ages 6-12 & no karate experience is required (so tell your friends).
Week 1 of camp will run from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, July 11 – July 15 at our Winton location. In the morning (9AM – Noon), campers will be exposed to the thrills, skills and drills of karate. Our afternoon session (Noon-3) will bring on all kinds of games, challenges, competitions and surprises. Full day and half day sessions are available.
Mountain High Adventure CampsCamps for age 7-12 in the Rochester area, and for age 12-17 in the Adirondacks
An outdoor adventure program designed for 7 to 16 year old boys and girls which includes camping, bicycling, mountain climbing (hiking), rock climbing, canoeing, and much more, under the direction of a fully trained, experienced and qualified program director and his staff. It is based out of 45 Britton Rd., Rochester, New York
Two week sessions start mid June and run through mid August. AM or PM Available.Two-week intervals start in mid or late June. Groups start in the Pittsford Indoor Rowing Center, where beginners can easily learn the basics in a safe environment. Then we move outdoors to the Erie Canal. Participants who have previously taken a Learn to program may take advanced sessions, with coach approval.
Learn to Row - open to all students entering grades 8-12. Learn to Scull - designed for students entering 6th, 7th, or 8th Grade. Sculling, which is rowing with two oars, is the perfect way for younger adolescents to learn the basics of rowing. Go to www.pittsfordcrew.org to register!

Welcome to Camp Midtown, where kids will enjoy a variety of games, sports and activities at Rochester’s premier athletic club all summer long. From the pool to the tennis courts and everything in between, Midtown’s professional counselors and expert fitness and tennis coaches are ready to provide you with a customized camp experience to meet your family’s needs. Unity Health System Total Sports ExperienceYouth Sports Instructional Summer Camps and Programs
Lacrosse and Basketball Camps at Unity Health System Total Sports Experience. Now with locations on both the East side (East Rochester) and Westside (Gates). Our goal is to provide players of all skill levels a professional environment where they can have fun and improve their skills every day. Lacrosse Camp as well as clinics in baseball, basketball, and soccer. Rochester Fencing Club
Try something new and get your Jedi Knight or Swashbuckling Pirate into a fencing camp this summer! We are bringing back our popular FULL DAY camp "Knights and Ninjas" that features ARCHERY, FENCING, and KARATE for ages 8-15, July 25-29 and Aug. 8-12. We also have a HALF DAY Mini Knights and Ninjas Camp for 6-8 year-olds that features fencing and karate, July 18-22. All Knights and Ninjas Camps are held at our brand new facility located at 3335 Brighton Henrietta Town Line Road. We have plenty of choices including "Fencing, Physics, and Fun: Jedi Forces" at Allendale Columbia, and many others at Harley, Mercy, and various town recreation centers for ages 6-15. All are suitable for beginners or those with more experience.
Summer Sports Camps at The Aquinas Institute
Each summer, Aquinas Institute holds summer sports camps to help build team morale and improve play. These camps are run by Aquinas coaches and alumni who dedicate their time to bettering athletes on and off the field. Join us this summer for girls and boys basketball, girls soccer and volleyball, boys lacrosse, cheerleading, football, and a number of other youth camps for children in grades 2-12. Master Kim’s Taekwondo
Master Kim’s Taekwondo Summer Camp offers an incredible opportunity to learn martial arts in a fun, controlled environment. We offer 10 weeks of full-day camp, beginning June 27 - September 2 at our Penfield location. You can drop off as early as 7:30 am, and pick up as late as 6:00 pm. Your children will gain physical strength while also learning character building ideas such as respect, confidence, a positive attitude, and self discipline. Each day will include games, crafts, taekwondo class, educational learning lessons, and fun weekly field trips. Ages 5-12 welcome, no experience necessary.
Jr. NBA Summer Campsat the Rochester Sports Garden
ArtsRoc sponsors the Jr. NBA Summer Camps at the Rochester Sports Garden. Your child will work with local RazorSharks, Corey Allmond and Rashard McGill. This is the most comprehensive basketball camp in the Rochester area. Camps run weekly from June 27th to August 26th, 9am-3pm. Open to ages 7-17. $285 per week. More at www.basketballforlife.net
