CURSIVE HANDWRITING + DRAWING AMERICAN HISTORY
Foundations Classical Academy
In this live online course, we improve our print and cursive handwriting through reading and writing about people and events from American history as well as drawing them. Why drawing? Drawing develops some of the same muscle groups used for handwriting. It's also lots of fun! Recommended for ages 11-18. An ADULT SECTION is also available (meeting time is different. It will start at 9:30 AM PST and end at 10:30 AM PST).
ADAPTED CLASSICS: The Iliad, The Odyssey, and Greek History (online camp in the liberal arts)
Foundations Classical Academy
The purpose of this live ONLINE course is to spark pre-teen/early teenage students' interest in reading classic books and to teach them to engage in Socratic discussion about themes, characters, plot, etc. We will also focus on history related to the stories. Our summer 2025 readings are selections from Homer’s The Iliad and The Odyssey. The cost is $150 for 22.5 hours of instruction June 16-Aug. 13, 2025.

June Program at Creative Themes: PK4 / K
Creative Themes Day Camp
Programs designed for preschool-aged children. The three weeks will have some half-day (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) and full-day (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) options. Creative Themes has built our Summer Camp around Experiential Learning, also known as Outdoor Adventure Education. We have designed age-appropriate activities and elements for the PK and K age groups. Our staff is trained to help campers experience safe and fun outdoor play and learning. All campers can try our camp activities: fishing, Archery, Canoeing, and Art and Creativity (Theater Area). Each activity will be scheduled multiple times during the week(weather permitting).
