Independent Lake Camp is a premier overnight summer camp in the Poconos for ages 6-17 offering an impressive array of activities rich with integrity due to top-notch facilities, and talented staff. Established over 30 years ago, ILC is dedicated to celebrating diversity, promoting creativity, and empowering individual growth with our individualized, elective scheduling. Campers will learn worthwhile skills in 2-8 week sessions while making everlasting memories & friends. Each camper chooses from: Circus, Trapeze, Sports, Fitness, Archery, Art, Theatre, Dance, Magic, Music, Recording Studio, Skatepark, Digital Arts, Moviemaking, RPG, Rocketry, Climbing Wall, High Ropes, Water-ski, Wakeboard, Lake, Pool, Horseback, Nature & more! Choose from 2 or 3 week session options, or combine multiple sessions for 5, 6, and 8 week experiences, for a fantastic summer filled with unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, and life skills that provide your child with independence, self confidence, and a sense of achievement!

In this beginning developers camp, ninjas will learn the basics of web development and have the opportunity to build their very own websites and fan pages.

EquiCenter’s Summer Program offers a dynamic weekly experience for youth 5+, combining hands-on horse activities, nature-based learning, and horticulture, all while fostering social and emotional growth. With sensory areas for regulation and flexible classroom activities, it’s the perfect way to gain horse knowledge and enjoy the outdoors this summer.

Summer adventure sessions are held at Helmer Nature Center in Irondequoit and are available for ages 5 to 15. All class days run from 8:30–2:30 pm M-F. Expect your child to jump, crawl, run, hide and play in this fun-filled camp experience!

Designed with teens in mind, these are some of the most memorable weeks of camp! There is buzz all year as campers look forward to seeing their friends again and making new ones. Campers learn proper breath control and technique while working on musical theatre songs.

Spend a week in the life of a registered nurse! With the help of the latest cutting-edge technology and expert clinicians at Roberts Wesleyan University, you will learn to work as a vital member of the healthcare team.

Campers will put on a production of Beetlejuice Jr. during this 3 week camp!

Spend a week learning about psychology and the breadth of vocational paths that it offers! Expect to learn a lot more about yourself and the people around you as you participate in a variety of activities.

Lights, Camera, Edit! Unleash your child's inner filmmaker as they become a digital director and enter the world of video editing! Throughout the week, campers will use OBS and CapCut to work on creative projects teaching them to record and edit their own videos

Spend a week learning about teaching children! You'll walk the path of a teacher, planning fun lessons and activities, and then implementing those activities with children.

Kids with a passion for codes, secret messages, and interactive challenges will love this camp! They'll travel through the world of cryptology, creating and deciphering coded information.

Spend a week thinking and training yourself to work as a professional creative writer! Learn new writing strategies and engage in multiple genres to explore what areas of strength you may want to develop further. Resources and daily writing prompts are provided to allow students a challenging but caring environment to grow as an artist and creative writer.

In this cybersecurity camp, kids embark on a thrilling journey of digital discovery and defense as they become heroes of the cyber realm. Ninjas aged 8-12 will use platforms including Minecraft Education, to transform into Data Defenders, safeguarding virtual data centers from sneaky viruses and following cryptic clues to unravel the mysteries of suspicious online activity.
