Camp Tiger(formerly Kids on Campus)
Camp Tiger, formerly known as Kids on Campus, is a summer day camp based on science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM). Hosted at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Camp Tiger caters to enthusiastic, hands-on learners in grades 3 through 12. Camp Tiger runs from 9am-3pm daily with optional morning (starting at 7:30am) and evening hours (ending at 6:00pm). We offer 1- and 2-week long workshops over a period of four weeks. Workshop topics align with areas that RIT excels at – including engineering, coding, science, game design, 3D modeling, Maker activities, business, interior design, and the arts. Camp Tiger costs include project-based instruction, family-style lunch in an RIT dining hall, supervised social interaction, and t-shirts to wear throughout camp. A recreation period brings in activities tailored to camper interests, time for a campus tour, and, for older campers, the opportunity to take part in a hands-on experience in the RIT Toyota Production Systems Lab.
