Week One: It’s Alive! (7/7‒7/11)
The Strong National Museum of Play’s "It’s Alive" summer camp invites kids to discover the wonders of the natural world through play! Campers will explore the vibrant Dancing Wings Butterfly Garden, observe aquatic life up close at the Rainbow Reef aquarium, and dive into interactive lessons about how animals and nature play in their environments. Through hands-on activities, creative exploration, and guided adventures, children will connect with the beauty, joy, and play of nature.

Week Two: Museum Makers (7/14‒7/18)
At The Strong National Museum of Play’s "Museum Makers" summer camp, kids will become junior exhibit creators! Through hands-on craft projects, exciting visits with museum teams, and behind-the-scenes explorations of The Strong's collections, campers will learn what it takes to bring exhibits to life. They'll discover how storytelling, creativity, and design come together to showcase artifacts and engage audiences. Kids will then collaborate to dream up and build their own mini-exhibits.

Week Three: STEAM Week (7/21‒7/25)
The Strong National Museum of Play hosts an engaging STEAM-week summer camp that combines the thrill of discovery with hands-on learning. Designed for curious minds, this camp immerses kids in science, technology, engineering, and arts. Participants can explore videos games, create unique art, and experiment with various challenges, all while enjoying the museum’s playful atmosphere. STEAM Week sparks creativity and curiosity, making it an unforgettable experience for young explorers.

Week Four: Game Makers (7/28‒8/1)
The Strong National Museum of Play’s "Game Makers" summer camp invites kids to dive into the exciting world of games. Campers will learn the fundamentals of creating game ideas, brainstorming imaginative concepts, and designing different elements in a variety of game types. Kids will explore digital and physical gaming worlds, test games, and work together to test each other’s creations. Guided by teachers and museum creators, this camp will encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem solving.
