Draper Center for Dance
Draper Center, official training school for Rochester City Ballet, has approximately 200 students and offers a wide variety of programs in dance education:

The school prides itself on providing the highest level of classical ballet and dance training, while adhering to a curriculum that teaches formation of character and stresses standards of excellence applicable to all areas of life.

Many Draper graduates have joined notable professional companies including New York City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, National Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, Ballet Met, Nashville Ballet, Houston Ballet, Boston Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, National Ballet Of Canada, Alonzo King's Lines, Cedar Lake Dance, Hubbard Street, Cirque Du Soleil, Rochester City Ballet and many more. Our graduates regularly recieve scholarships to attend the best Universities in the country. We currently have Alumni at Arizona University, NYU, Juiliard, Princeton, and Harvard to name a few.

OUR FACILITY
Draper Center is thrilled to be making our new home on the JCC campus. We have five state of the art, spacious studios. All of our studios have windows. We have sprung and marley floors, and brand new sound systems. The JCC provides a safe enviroment on a park like campus, for our dancers. We also have a spacious lobby area with plenty of space, comfortable seating and work stations for our parents.
