Growing Good Gardening and Nature Program

What is it?
An eight-week summer food-focused program that balances academic objectives like literacy, math, and science skills and knowledge, healthy physical and social-emotional development, and having fun and enjoying the summer days. This program will be outdoors as much as possible and will focus on where food comes from, what good food means, and how we can build a better world with better food.
Who is it for?
Children currently in grades K-5 are welcome to attend. Please reach out about needs and accomodations.
When is it?

Mon-Fri 9:00 – 3:00
Session 1: July 6 – 17 (2 weeks)
Session 2: July 20 – July 31 (2 weeks)
Session 3: Aug 3 – 14 (2 weeks)
Session 4: Aug 17 – 21 (1 week)
Families can register for one or more sessions)
Where is it?
The newly constructed Foodlink Edible Education Center at 585 Lexington Avenue.

How much is it?
This program offered on a sliding scale for families. We ask families to pick the cost that fits their budgets and makes sure we are able to offer this program to everyone. We will do everything we can to make this accessible to all families, reach out if this cost is a barrier.
- $50 for 1 week / $100 for 2 weeks
- $150 for 1 week / $300 for 2 weeks
