The School of Rochester City Ballet Summer Intensive offers dancers an inspiring and rigorous training experience led by current and former professional dancers, alongside exceptional guest faculty from the professional dance world. Together, they provide students with high-level instruction, mentorship, and real-world insight.
The program emphasizes classical ballet and technique while incorporating other styles, and cross-training to support strength, versatility, and artistry.
Dancers may enroll for one to five weeks, making the program both flexible and immersive. The intensive concludes with a celebratory performance showcasing each dancer’s progress and achievements.
Summer Intensive Placement Classes
The School of Rochester City Ballet will hold placement classes for dancers interested in our Summer Intensive on Sunday, July 19th.

Ages 10–13: 11:00 AM–12:30 PM

Ages 14+: 1:00–2:30 PM
Placement classes allow students to be evaluated and placed appropriately within the program based on technique and experience. Classes will be led by SRCB faculty, all of whom are current or former professional dancers, and reflect the level and structure of our Summer Intensive training.
