Ready to introduce your kids to the exciting world of climbing? Our staff belay service is perfect for first-timers or those who just want a quick, staff-guided adventure. In this one-hour session, we'll make sure the focus is on getting the kids climbing and, most importantly, having a blast! Let's make their first climbing experience a memorable one!
The Ray Conniff Jazz Ensemble Series presents the Eastman Jazz Ensemble and Eastman New Jazz Ensemble, with guest bassist, John Clayton. Tuesday, April 15 at 7:30 PM in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre. Admission is free and open to the public. Recommended for ages 6 and above.
Eastman students, faculty, and alumni present a 25-minute lunchtime concert at Christ Church every Tuesday. Performances feature the Craighead-Saunders Organ and Hook & Hastings Organ. Each free program begins at 12:10 p.m.
Splash Week is a free water safety and basic swimming skills program for those with little or no experience. It is open to the community and YMCA of Greater Rochester members. The YMCA of Greater Rochester is proud to announce the return of Splash Week for kids and families across our Association. It will be held April 14-18 at various YMCA of Greater Rochester locations (see details). Participation is free, but registration is required. Who can participate: Splash Week is open both to YMCA of Greater Rochester Members AND to nonmembers, for ages 3 and up.
