PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR AUTISM RESEARCH!
The Cognitive Neurophysiology Lab is recruiting children and adults with and without autism for a study to better understand visual and auditory perception.
Participants will be asked to look at objects on a screen or listen to sounds via headphones while we monitor brain activity with electroencephalogram (EEG) or brain imaging (MRI), and they will participate in cognitive testing. Participation will include at least two visits (~3-4.5 hrs each).
Participants should:
- Be between 6 and 30 years old
- Have normal hearing, have normal (or corrected-to-normal) vision
- Have no history of major head injury
- Participants with autism should have a formal clinical diagnosis
Reimbursement:
- $18/hour for the participant
- $25 for parent/guardian of participant
- MRI participants will also get a free picture of their brain!
