November 16 – January 5, 2025: 40 minutes / For all ages: The Planetarium's family holiday spectacular returns as our new state-of-the-art laser system and full-dome visualization system combine to create a more colorful and immersive experience than ever before. This show features your favorite holiday songs played back-to-back, from Mariah Carey to Mannheim Steamroller, choreographed with dancing laser light among the stars of the Planetarium sky.

Friday, Dec 13 - Sunday, Dec 15: Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know that it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue…and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow—but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. On a mission to transform lives, Broadway’s brassiest join forces with a courageous girl and the town’s citizens and the result is love that brings them all together. In this one-hour session, we'll make sure the focus is on getting the kids climbing and, most importantly, having a blast! Let's make their first climbing experience a memorable one!

Discover the magic of Broadway through our exciting Saturday dance workshop series at OFC Creations Theatre Center! Led by instructor Caeli Carroll, each session focuses on a different hit musical, allowing students ages 7-13 to dive into the world of musical theatre. Join us on 12/7 for Newsies, 12/14 for The Greatest Showman, 12/21 for Six: The Musical, 1/5 for Hamilton, and 1/11 for Wicked. Workshops run from 10-11:30 AM and are $25 each—or save 10% by registering for all five. Open to all experience levels, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn original choreography and dance like a Broadway star!

Charles Dickens’ holiday classic returns to the Geva stage in a new adaptation by Playwright in Residence Harrison David Rivers. Over the course of a single night, notorious grump Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by four ghosts. But will their intervention prompt him to change his “humbug” ways? Filled with humor, heart, hope – and a little bit of horror – A Christmas Carol reminds us that it is never too late to have a change of heart.

The sixth annual Roc Holiday Village presents 17 days of enchanting festivities from December 6 to December 29, every Wednesday to Sunday. The downtown Rochester festival features free ice skating and skate rentals, a unique Shopping Village, free visits & pictures with Santa, fire pits with outdoor seating, indoor and outdoor bars, hand-crafted goods, Cozy Winter Igloos, free crafts for kids, food trucks, a variety of holiday celebrations, live music, private events, nightlife and more. In 2023, Roc Holiday Village drew over 185,000 people of all ages to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Memorial Park. 2024 will be Roc Holiday Village’s sixth year.

Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in the Student Union: Join us for a Holiday Brunch with Santa at The Aquinas Institute of Rochester Winter Wonderland! You can expect a delicious breakfast, photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus, crafts, games, face painting, raffles, and school tours. Tickets are $12.00 per person (under 2 years old are free to attend). All proceeds support the Aquinas Baseball Teams!
