November 16 – January 5, 2025: 40 minutes / For all ages: The Planetarium's family holiday spectacular returns as our new state-of-the-art laser system and full-dome visualization system combine to create a more colorful and immersive experience than ever before. This show features your favorite holiday songs played back-to-back, from Mariah Carey to Mannheim Steamroller, choreographed with dancing laser light among the stars of the Planetarium sky.

Family Night is every Sunday after 4PM! Bring your family climbing for just $15 per pass (regularly $25 for youth and $28 for adults). To participate, at least one parent must purchase a pass or be a current member. Each pass includes rental shoes, harness, and an Auto Belay and Bouldering orientation. The offer is limited to 4 passes per family (e.g., 1 parent with 2 kids or 2 parents with 2 kids).

Going for Baroque is a weekly series of mini-recitals at the Memorial Art Gallery, offered each Sunday at 1:30 PM and again at 3:00 PM. It offers the opportunity for students from the Eastman School of Music to perform alongside professional musicians on the Italian Baroque organ on the second floor of the museum. The 25-minute mini-recital is included with museum admission.

Eastman and Eastman Community Music School ensembles come together to perform music from across the globe in the Gamelan Sanjiwani, Introductory Mbira Ensemble, Brazilian Percussion Ensemble and Zimbabwean Marimba Ensemble. Admission is free and open to the public. Recommended for ages 6 and above.

Get Ready for a Magical Christmas Adventure as Santa and Mrs. Claus bring holiday wonder to Hidden Valley. Decorated in Christmas splendor, The Lodge will host Santa’s Wonderland where you’ll decorate cookies, write letters to the North Pole, take holiday photos and more before boarding your trolley for a journey through Hidden Valley’s Mystical Forest. There you’ll see herds of bison and elk, Randy the camel, llamas, and blackbelly sheep roaming the wintery terrain. Upon your return, pet and feed a variety of live animals in open-air stalls. The Cognitive Neurophysiology Lab is recruiting children and adults with and without autism! Help us better understand visual and auditory perception in individuals with and without autism by participating in our research. Here, participants may be asked to complete cognitive testing, and look/listen to objects/sounds while we monitor brain activity with electroencephalography (EEG) or brain imaging (MRI). Participants will be compensated for their time.
