To promote knowledge of the history of Newark and Arcadia through displays, programs, and writings.
The Museum is open every Saturday throughout the year from 1 - 3 p.m., and Wednesday evenings from 7 - 9 during the months of July and August. The Museum has several rooms with exhibits of various aspects of Newark-Arcadia history. Our current main exhibit is Schools and Education in Newark. Our adjunct site, the Marbletown Schoolhouse, open Saturdays from 1 - 3 during July and August, also has a great new exhibit on the Rural School Districts of Arcadia. There is no admission fee for either location - donations are gratefully accepted. Hope to see you soon!
