Students, ages 6-12, will participate in child driven hikes, habitat studies, crafts, games, and hands-on explorations. Each day will hold new adventures, experiences, and countless ways for children to learn and grow. Our young adventurers will explore the trails, cook over a fire, kayak with new friends, and create lasting childhood memories!
The Fall Session will run September 10 - December 17, 2025, excluding the break weeks below, and meet on Wednesdays from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Location will vary based on session, but will all be on the south east side of Rochester, NY. Ideally, we will be exploring Mendon Ponds Park! This is a free program, but all families are asked to make a donnation to cover supply costs and shelter rentals.

- Break weeks on September 24, October 15, and November 26.

Daily hikes will be approximately 1-3 miles long with limited hills.

4 hours of outdoor exploration and fun!
- Parents are welcome to sign up to be hike helperes.

Students are required have a completed a liability waiver, photo release, and health form on file prior to the first day of the session.

Closed toe shoes and weather appropriate clothing are required. Rain and snow gear may be required.

Please dress for the weather and know we may encounter sun, heat, rain, mud or snow.

Sunscreen, DEET FREE bug spray, hat, and water bottle, and lunch / snack are recommended.

Parking is available at the check in location.

Restrooms and drinking fountains are not available at all locations.
