Adventures with Alyssa Rose

I love going on ADVENTURES! I enjoy exploring the forest, ponds, lakes, and streams of upstate New York. I earned a Bachelors of Arts in Teaching from St. Bonaventure University and went on to complete a Masters of Arts in Teaching the Biological Sciences from Miami University of Ohio in affiliation with the Bronx Zoo. Over the past 10 years I have been a hike leader, naturalist, tour guide, summer camp teacher, and finally camp manager at the Genesee Country Village & Museum. After moving to Rochester in 2020 I began substitute teaching, but have missed leading hikes and sharing my nature knowledge. So I decided to go into business for myself! I obtained my NYS Program Leader Certification in 2024 and am trained in First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety. I am excited to offer outdoor adventures recommended for families with children ages 4-12 in the Greater Rochester Area, starting with Pal-Mac!
