Creek Explorations

We will spend 2 hours exploring the creek from multiple locations and searching for local flora and fauna. We will use tools to safely catch, observe, and release species such as crayfish, invertebrates, fish, and more.
Each group can hold up to 10 children, so reserve your family’s spot today!

This hike is approximately 1.5 miles long, has an elevation gain of 40 feet, and lasts 2 hours.

Recommended for ages 2+.

$5 per person must be paid to Adventures with Alyssa Rose in cash or via Venmo or Paypal prior to departing on your scheduled hike. @rosieswildlife

All children are required to have a parent present for the entire program. One adult can take responsibility for up to five children.

Adults will be required to complete a waiver prior to the hike for themselves and the children they claim responsibility for.

All participants are encouraged to walk or be carried.

Many portions of this hike are too narrow for a stroller.

Closed toe water shoes are required to enter the creek for exploration. Please dress for the weather and bring plenty of drinking water, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, and DEET free insect repellent.

Dogs are welcome, but must remain leashed at all times per Ontario Pathways and Ganargua Creek rules.

Parking is available at the check in location.

There are no restrooms or water fountains at these locations, but a portable water refill station and pop up potty will be available at the trail-head.
