The Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society (W-PHS) house will open for the season on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons, from 1:00-4:00pm. Exhibits include artifacts about the shipping history of the area. The house also features the War of 1812 Peace Garden on its grounds. Historic Gates Hall (https://www.historicgateshall.org/) which proudly bears the designation as the oldest, continuously active small community theatre in the United States, and is also a multi-use community venue available for private functions, is located within walking distance and is operated by W-PHS. Check the website for special events! Founded in 1964, the Williamson-Pultneyville Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer not-for-profit organization chartered by the State of New York Board of Regents and is situated in historic Pultneyville, just 25 minutes east of Rochester.
