Sonnenberg Gardens & Mansion State Historic Park

Only a short 30 minutes from Rochester, Sonnenberg Gardens offers enjoyment for all ages in its formal gardens, Victorian mansion, and greenhouse complex. One of the most treasured landmarks of our region, Sonnenberg Gardens greets 35,000 visitors annually and has been doing so since it opened its doors to the public in 1973. Visitors from all over the globe come to enjoy the relaxing nature and beauty of its gardens. Many also come to learn about the history of this unique place and its original owners, Frederick and Mary Clark Thompson. We are open 7 days a week, rain or shine, May 1 through October 31. Hours: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm; extended Summer Hours (Memorial Day – Labor Day): 9:30 am – 5:30 pm.

$15 Adults (Ages 18 – 59)
$13 Seniors (Ages 60 +)
AAA Members (w/valid member card)
$8 Students (Ages 13 – 17 and College students w/valid college ID)
Military personnel w/ valid ID
$3 Children (Ages 4 – 12)
Free Children (Ages 3 and under)
Sonnenberg Members (regular park admission is always free for members)

Admission includes entrance into the gardens, greenhouse, and mansion. Regular park admission does not include admission to special events. There is no admission required for the Gift Shop or Finger Lakes Wine Center.
