Young Authors Club
Families facing economic challenges are especially encouraged to register their young readers and writers in tuition-free camps held at five Rochester branch libraries.

Let your creativity and imagination take hold as you discover the author in you! We will engage in creative writing and drawing activities, team-building, and exploring the library as a resource. Tap into your unique talents, and use your voice to express yourself through story, poetry, or illustration. The campers will be the creative directors of a unique anthology of writing and illustration. Campers can choose to work in groups or on their own project. All artistic expression is valid—no skill required, just imagination! We will create something unexpected and wonderful! Our creation will be displayed as part of the library’s Story Walk, and each camper will receive a digital copy of the book.
