Do you like fantasy, superhero adventures, sci-fi, animal tales, or realistic problem-solving stories? They all use many of the same skills of creating compelling characters, writing clear descriptions and exciting dialogue, and creating a series of scenes that move a plot along. You will create the kinds of characters and write the sorts of stories you like. We will use spoken word monologues and dramatic scenes to express characters’ inner lives and outer struggles. You will take home your own story and an anthology of the group’s writing. Along the way, we will have fun, play games, and explore the Sully Library’s resources and secrets.
