Make music and memories that last a lifetime! At the Kanack School, we are offering 5 weeks of music camps for all ages and skill levels and we want you to be there! Every session, students are challenged to create an entire concert in just a week. They learn so much in the process: motivation and practice, time management, and social and rehearsal skills. From Suzuki to chamber music, and music improvisation to folk music, the Kanack School has your music camp this summer!

These camps are designed to have something for everyone from absolute beginners to serious, advanced students! Morning classes offered will include Suzuki repertoire, improvisation, arts and crafts, masterclasses, reading, and music theory. The afternoon consists of daily coached chamber music in small groups, each with a dedicated coach. All ensembles experience the wonderful challenge to prepare a concert in just 5 days!

Each student has a different camp experience tailored to their specific level and experience! Younger students will enjoy Suzuki Junior Chamber Music where they can spend their week in intensive exploration, while older students will Advanced Chamber Music, being trained to play both well-known musical works as well as hidden gems. All students advance their skills in teamwork and ensemble, music reading, and technical and creative skills.

These programs are offered in separate weeks. Students can attend one or multiple weeks! Our Morning programs conclude with a concert at 12 noon on the last day of camp. The Afternoon and Full Day programs end with a concert on the last day at 6 pm.
