Stages of the Game Improv
Join us Friday, May 1st at 7pm for the Improv Student Showcase at the Stages 3rd floor theater at the Auditorium! Free to all- come laugh and support! Using audience suggestions to inform each scene, the performance will include short form improv games (in the style of the popular TV show, “Whose Line is it Anyway”), and a long form improv performance piece. Perfect for kids who are interested in comedy and maybe even trying it out themselves!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Our students have been learning the basic elements of comedy improv, including listening and agreeing, building relationships, developing characters, exploring emotions, and building environments. Using audience suggestions to inform each scene, the performance will include short form improv games (in the style of the popular TV show, “Whose Line is it Anyway”), and a long form improv performance piece.
