Rookies for Swifties - 5 Day Camp Ages 5-7
Ear training, song structure, rhythm pattern, and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 5-7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This five-day camp runs Monday through Friday with a performance at the end of the last day.

SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday through Friday 9:30am - 1:30pm each day
- Drop off is no earlier than 9:00am each day
- Pick up is no later than 1:30pm each day
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games/activities
FRIDAY PERFORMANCE
On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they’ve been working on all week. The show will take place at the school at 1:00pm. We will be providing more details on the first day of camp.
WHAT TO BRING
- Campers must bring their own (NUT-FREE) lunch, snacks and water bottle labeled with their name each day.
- Appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather, playing outside (during summer camps), and being indoors are also necessary.
- We provide all instruments needed for the duration of the camp. However, if your child already has their own guitar or bass guitar that they would like to use, please have them bring it with them to camp.
Please note that campers may rotate through and play different instruments throughout the camp, depending on the needs of the group.
