The annual nine-day Rochester International Jazz Festival is a multi-dimensional festival with something for everyone. From legendary performers and familiar favorites - to rising stars and new discoveries - this festival navigates all genres of creative improvised music from all corners of the world. Walk to all 20 venues - elegant concert halls, intimate clubs, and vibrant outdoor stages - and enjoy 320+ shows featuring 1500+ artists. Ticketed and 95+ free shows. Free 1.5 hour workshops are offered for young musicians from elementary to high school age and are held over five days and led by leading musicians performing at the festival.
