Mount Hope has a rich history that is educational and important to the NY area. Susan B Anthony and Frederick Douglass are residents of the cemeter and many other famous and important historical figures.

-Mount hope offers tours for all ages on various subjects including Sufferage, The Underground Railroad, Veterens of the Civil War, 1812, WW1 & WW2. Many great innovators are buried here such as Bausch and Lomb, George Ellwanger, Frank Gannett, Myron Holley, Nathanial Rochester, Seth Green and more!
