Cracker Box Palace at Historic Alasa Farms
Cracker Box Palace at Historic Alasa Farms is a unique destination that has something for everyone. We are most proud of the role we play as the county's shelter for large and farm animals, many of whom have been brought back to health having suffered from neglect and cruelty. Horses, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, geese, rabbits and a couple of farm cats to keep things in line. Kids of all ages love to visit and our animals love visitors.
But we offer a lot more on our 640 acres. If you are a hiker, rider, birder or just a forest bather looking for the healing power or nature we have miles of trails through forest and fields, and down to Second Creek as it enters Sodus Bay. Our farm "village" has a long history dating back to the Shakers and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We have several hundred acres under cultivation in fruit and vegetables.
We welcome visitors and hope to see you soon!
