Casa Hispana
Two weeks: July 7-11 and July 14-18
Time: 10AM- 2:00PM
Two different groups at the same time and place:
- Cangrejos: 4-6 years old
- Medusas: 7-10 years old
Campers will be immersed in the Spanish language and culture while enjoying different activities. Your child will absorb and learn the language through natural interactions in singing and body expression, yoga, games, artistic crafts, folkloric music and dance, cooking, athletics, water games,movie talk, and much more.
Our program is not designed to make children bilingual, as Spanish immersion time is limited. However, it is focused on awakening their interest in the language, helping them become familiar with the sounds of Spanish, and giving them a cultural and linguistic foundation that will motivate them to continue learning. It is an opportunity for children to explore the language in a fun and meaningful way, developing a positive connection to Spanish that can be the beginning of deeper learning in the future.
All of our teachers are native Spanish speakers — from Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Spain.
