When a cyclone rips through Kansas, Dorothy (Judy Garland) and her dog Toto are whisked away to the magical Land of Oz. As they follow the yellow brick road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, they meet Scarecrow, who needs a brain; Tin Woodsman, missing a heart; and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage. To earn the Wizard’s help, the group must return with the broomstick of the Wicked Witch of the West.
