November 16 – January 5, 2025: 40 minutes / For all ages: The Planetarium's family holiday spectacular returns as our new state-of-the-art laser system and full-dome visualization system combine to create a more colorful and immersive experience than ever before. This show features your favorite holiday songs played back-to-back, from Mariah Carey to Mannheim Steamroller, choreographed with dancing laser light among the stars of the Planetarium sky.

The Eastman New Jazz Ensemble, led by Dave Rivello, concludes the semester’s big band performances at Eastman. Friday, December 6 at 7:30 PM in Kilbourn Hall. Admission is free and open to the public. Recommended for ages 6 and above.

The Grinch discovers there’s more to Christmas than he bargained for in this heart-warming holiday classic. Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is “two sizes too small,” decides to steal Christmas away from the Holiday loving Whos. Magnificent sets and costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss’ original illustrations help transport audiences to the whimsical world of Whoville and helps remind us of the true meaning of the holiday season. Don’t miss what The New York Times calls “AN EXTRAORDINARY PERFORMANCE! 100 times better than any bedtime story.”

We are a Christmas tree farm offering Choose and Cut Christmas trees, pre-cut trees, wreaths, and a country Christmas market.

You'll be in awe of the amazing tabletop trees decorated by local businesses and organizations. These beautiful, and occasionally whimsical trees complement the beautiful holiday decor throughout the historic mansion. All of the trees are available in an online silent auction.

Dec 6, 2024, 7:30pm at Greece Baptist Church: Céilidh (pronounced “KAY-ley”) is the Gaelic word for a social gathering where traditional music, dancing, and storytelling abound. Rochester’s Christmas Céilidh Band (CCB) has been delighting holiday audiences since 2001 with their varied program of traditional and contemporary Celtic music and song. They will perform a concert for the Golden Link Folk Singing Society on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 7:30 pm at Greece Baptist Church, 1320 Long Pond Road, Rochester.
