Originally named the Experimental Educational Theatre (EET), NTID Department of Performing Arts offers an array of theatre courses and produces several productions per season.

The department offers courses in dance, Deaf performance, and technical theatre for all RIT students, with opportunities to pursue minors or immersions in dance, theatre design and stagecraft, and ASL performance.
