Junk to Genius: Using recycled and found materials, campers transform everyday items into inventive works of art. This process-focused week emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and seeing potential in unexpected places. This camp is designed for children who have completed at least one year of kindergarten.
Tentative Schedule Below
- 9am: arrivals and free play / free create
- 9:45am: morning meeting
- 10am: art block 1
- 11:30am: snack & story (outside if weather permits)
- 11:45am: free play / free create
- 12:30pm: lunch (outside if weather permits)
- 1pm: art block 2
- 2:45pm: afternoon meeting and clean up
Please pack a lunch and water bottle for your child. We will provide one nut-free snack each day and we have a water fountain in the studio. If your child has particular needs or requires more than one snack, feel free to pack your own snack as well.
If the weather cooperates we will go outside for a snack and lunch daily, please apply sunscreen to your child before they arrive and / or pack a hat.
