• guidance and support in the  high school course selection process
• building a college list, and refining it throughout the process
• creation of a college application time line, including a standardized testing plan
• guidance throughout the application and essay writing process, including brainstorming and review of essays and supplements
• assistance in the selection of faculty for recommendations
• development of a strong applicant resume that showcases the student's strengths and talents
• clarification of the financial aid process.  

 Using clinical and educational expertise, I can:

• provide assistance in the development of individualized lists of potential colleges.
• work with a student and his/her family to identify the "best fit" colleges, including academic, social and financial factors.
• guide students and their families to maximize information gained from campus visits, interactions with college representatives and literature provided by colleges.  
• help craft an application that stands out to admissions offices, representing the unique qualities of each student
• assist in clarifying goals, values and dreams with both the student and the family to help take the stress out of the process and and contribute to the most successful outcome.

 For students who have specific learning needs and challenges, services also include identification of support services and resources specific to those needs in a post-secondary environment. Services are not limited to students and families within any specific geographic area; I have successfully provided all available services to students across the United States using a variety of communication technologies.
