Perfect for kids eager to dive into the world of programming and game creation, this camp offers an exciting introduction to the basics of game design using Scratch, a kid-friendly, visual programming language developed by MIT. Throughout the camp, Ninjas will explore essential programming concepts such as loops, functions, and video detection. They'll channel their creativity to craft games inspired by timeless classics like Breakout, Snake, and Flappy Bird, using Scratch's intuitive block-based coding environment. This hands-on experience cultivates both technical skills and imaginative thinking, empowering campers to bring their unique game ideas to life. This camp runs Monday-Thursday due to the 4th of July holiday on Friday.
