School Choice Fair for K-12 Parents
Pre-K, Charter Schools, Private Schools and Community Organizations Welcome Parents and Guardians to Learn More about Offerings
WHAT: GoodSchoolsRoc School Choice Fair
WHEN: Saturday, March 7 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
WHERE: MCC Downtown Campus, 321 State Street, Rochester, NY 14608
WHO: More than 35 schools and community organizations
More than 35 schools and community organizations will welcome parents and guardians of K-12 students on March 7 from 10 am to 1 pm at the MCC Downtown Campus, 321 State Street. The event is free.
The first 100 attendees will receive free passes to the Rochester Museum & Science Center. A drawing will be held for an iPad Mini and gift cards.
Parents will have the opportunity to learn about their school options, including Pre-K, K to 12 public charter schools and private schools, and connect with local family support organizations that offer resources to benefit children and families. GoodSchoolsRoc.org promotes school choice, providing a centralized website for parents to learn about and apply to all Rochester charter schools. GoodSchoolsRoc is a program of EDceptional, a charter sector support organization focused on improving educational outcomes for students in the city of Rochester. EDceptional is the only organization supporting all local charter schools to achieve enrollment goals and academic excellence.
