EXPLORERS
Campers aged 5 to 7
9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday
Member Fee: $330
General Fee: $365
Campers will explore nature using all five senses, encouraging exploratory growth through guided programs. Throughout the day, campers will record their experiences and explorations in their nature journal.
Available Weeks 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6.
ADVENTURERS
Campers aged 8 to 11

Campers will create adventures across Beaver Meadow's diverse ecosystems. They will experience the wonder of standing in an old growth forest, running through the meadow chasing dragonflies, search their dip nets for creatures in pond, and see birds closer than ever before! Your child will learn about nature in the best way possible: by spending time in nature.
Available Weeks 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6.
Campers aged 12 to 15

Avian Expeditioners will take your child's interest in birds to the next level. Each camper will receive their very own pair of Vortex Binoculars to keep and take home. Campers will use their binoculars throughout week to get close-up looks at some of the amazing birds of Western New York. Your child will become a 21st Century Birder through using technology such as eBird, Merlin, and more. They will participate in community science programs and keep track of the birds they see through the eBird online database. New for Avian Expeditioners this year, kids will camp out overnight from Thursday to Friday so they can go on an Owl Prowl and then wake up to hear the birds' dawn chorus!
Each camper will receive a pair of Vortex binoculars included with cost of camp – (a $130 retail value). For returning campers with Vortex 8.5x32 binoculars, please use coupon code FLYBACK at checkout to deduct the cost of the binoculars.
The price for our Avian Expeditioners has increased this year to include the cost of the overnight campout!

Campers aged 12-15

Our Wilderness Expeditioners will learn basic outdoor skills, such as hiking essentials, basic first aid, navigating by compass and GPS, finding water, fire starting, shelter building, what to do if lost, how to find someone who is lost, and more! At the end of the week, they will put their skills to the test with a Thursday night campout at Beaver Meadow.

July 30th and August 1st

For one single day, Explorers and Adventurers will get to do of our favorite camp programs, including canoeing, pond life, insects, and trees. The day will end like all of our camps do: a campfire and smores with new friends!
July 30th and August 1st camps are both open to Explorers and Adventurers!
On July 30th, Wilderness Expeditioners will have a full day learning the basics of survival: building shelters, hiking, starting a fire, using a compass, and more!
On August 1st, Avian Expeditioners will have a full day learning the basics of birding: using binoculars, learning to identify birds by sight and sound, learning what birds eat, where they live, and more!
