Meet the Staff
Marci Mendola-Pitcher, D.D.S.
Dr. Pitcher, owner of the Rosen-Pitcher Dental Group since January 2003, is a Pittsford native and even attended St. Louis School located across the streetfrom her office. She received her Bachelors Degree from William Smith College and graduated from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, thusfulfilling her childhood dream of becoming a dentist. Her Pediatric post-graduate training was completed at theEastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester. Today she is honored to be a Diplomate of The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Pitcher, her husband Dan and their children live in Rochester and enjoy recreating in the Finger Lakes. She takes pride in her workcaring for her patients as if they were her own children. Gerald Rosen, D.D.S.
Founder of the Rosen Dental Group for children, Dr. Rosen continues to work side by side with Dr. Pitcher at the Rosen Pitcher Dental Group for children. In addition he is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at U of R’s Eastman Dental Center. He is a Diplomate of The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and Fellow of The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Society of Dentistry for Children. He continues to publish articles in dental journals as well as the Democrat and Chronicle. Dr. Rosen graduated from New York University Dental School. He came to Rochester over 35 years ago for his pediatric training; and with his wife Maxine, raised three sons in Pittsford. "I practiced general dentistry for my first five years in practice, but children have always been first in my heart!"
