Have you ever wondered what goes into bringing a story alive on the silver screen? In this camp, you’ll transform into cast and crew to make your own short movie based on a Newbery Medal-winning book. Learning how to run cameras, set up lights, operate audio equipment, direct, and edit are the exciting new skills you’ll come away with at the end of the week. You also will use animation and 3D graphic design tools to bring your imagination to the screen. Oh, and did we mention you’ll be the writers and stars of the movie, too? We’ll have a red carpet premiere for friends and family on Friday, and the finished movie will be submitted to the national 90-second Newbery Film Festival with screenings in Rochester and across the country.
