Meet a Fireman or a Police Officer with Operation Safe Child or watch a K9 Demonstration. Downtown Canandaigua BID Director, Denise Chaapel states, “This event is one of their favorites to watch people Stroll the Streets and just enjoy great outdoor family fun while zipping in and out of businesses experiencing all the incredible shops, galleries, and restaurants in Canandaigua. Seeing people have so much fun and saying they had no idea about all we have to offer, makes all the work that goes into this festival so worthwhile.”
Be sure to return on Sunday to admire the ice sculptures lining the streets of downtown, even lit up at night, and more festivities, including different fire shows, during the day.
This year’s festival will have many new vendors performing demonstrations, allowing up-close encounters with endangered wildlife sponsored by Wildlife Defenders, Cummings Nature Center, and more all to be enjoyed with warm beverages and food.
