City of Rochester, Department of Recreation and Human Services, R-Centers: The City offers an abundance of year-round social, cultural, play, aquatic, and athletic programs at its R-Centers, camps, sports complexes, playgrounds, and parks, for youth, teens, and adults. Recreation programs include year-round swimming, free summer breakfast and lunch, school-year dinners, a Youth Council, homework help and hundreds of seasonal events. Facilities boast indoor and outdoor basketball courts, football/soccer fields, tennis courts, game rooms, gyms, meeting rooms, playgrounds and much more. Many of these centers are available for rental throughout the year.
