Calling all homeschool families! Join us for a Halloween-themed homeschool family field trip day at our Nature Center!

Calling all homeschool families explore the Nature Center at Genesee Country Village & Museum on Halloween!
What a better way to spend Halloween day than outside in the woods! This program includes a guided hike, crafts, games, storytelling, and s’mores around a fire. All activities are family friendly and celebrates the autumnal changes happening in nature, rather than spooky/scary parts of Halloween.
Participating homeschoolers will get the opportunity to:
- Take a magical guided hike and learn about the folklore of plants and animals – bats, spiders, and owls – oh my!
- Make an autumn wreath to decorate your door
- Weave a web of natural materials on a natural loom you can take home
- Enjoy s’mores around a campfire
