Feed the chickadees - They’re hungry in winter and with hunger comes boldness. Hike or cross-country ski the Birdsong Trail in Mendon Ponds Park but stop at the nature center building before heading out to get a handful of sunflower seeds. The chickadees will land on your outstretched hand to eat the seeds.
