    Brown's Berry Patch is about 45 minutes west of Rochester, in Albion, but it's truly worth the trip. They have pick-your-own strawberries (mid June - July), Sweet cherries (early July 'til picked out -- it's like the Garden of Eden in the cherry orchard), Raspberries (July - September), Blueberries (early July - August), Blackberries (July), Currants (late July - August), Gooseberries (late July - August), Elderberries (mid-August - September), Apples (late August - Halloween), Pumpkins (October).

    G and S Orchards is a family fruit farm specializing in high quality, high taste berries and seasonal fruits. They offer direct sales on the farm thru pick your own and retail stand. You can also find them on Saturdays at the Fairport Farmers Market. Strawberry Picking begins the Week of June 16. They also offer cherries, blueberries, raspberries, and apples.

    At Green Acre Farms, you can pick strawberries (mid June for 3 - 4 weeks), raspberries (from early July through late October, depending on the variety), blackberries (early to mid August), blueberries (mid July to late August), apricots (5 varieties available late July), peaches (13 varieties available from early August to mid September), nectarines (8 varieties available from early August to mid Sept), plums (Shiro (yellow plum) late July), prunes (Stanley and Fellenburgh in early September), and apples and pumpkins in the fall.
