Holiday Laser returns to the RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium
A family holiday traditionThe RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium's family-favorite holiday spectacular returns with a colorful and immersive star show paired with holiday themed lasers that fill the entire dome. This show features your favorite holiday songs played back-to-back, from Mariah Carey to Mannheim Steamroller, choreographed with dancing laser light among the stars of the Planetarium sky. Produced at the Planetarium, this show is a Rochester tradition for families, friends, and out-of-town visitors.

December 7-31, 2024The Child Advocacy Center of Greater Rochester (formerly Bivona Child Advocacy Center) has again partnered with some of the brightest and most festively decorated homes in our area to bring you a fun, family-centered event! Their annual Holiday Lights Tour is a great way to celebrate the holiday magic while supporting children in our community. Take the tour as often as you’d like! Purchase your Sleigh Box(es) and embark on a holiday adventure with family or friends from the comfort of your own car. Sleigh boxes includes: Maps to designated homes & neighborhoods; holiday treats & goodies; fun & festive activities for the family. Sleigh boxes are $50 and are ideal for a family of four. Limited quantities are available. Purchase yours by Dec 8th and then drive through on Dec. 7 from 5-8pm to pick up your box (and say hello to Santa and Mrs. Claus)!

Over 28,000 lights and 14 blow ups including a 20 foot reindeer spread out among a corner lot. This display features lighted pathway through the property for families to walk through and get close to the display. The Santa mailbox is happily accepting letters and getting them to Santa. The display is open from Dec 1-Jan 1 from 6pm-10pm m-f. On Christmas Eve the display is on all night.
