Seneca Lake State Park is tops on parents' list for summer water fun in Western New York and the Finger Lakes! Because the Park had no specific web page showing their great Sprayground and playground, we thought we'd put up some photos so you can see the great water fun in store for you when you bring your kids to Geneva.
Seneca Lake State Park is located at the northern end of Seneca Lake, in Geneva, NY, about 50 minutes southeast of Rochester along Routes 5 & 20. For 2017, it's $7 per car. The hours are 11-6pm (gates to the park open at 8:30 and the park closes at dark). Call ahead, (315) 789-2331, on the day you're planning to go, to check conditions.
Directions: Take the Thruway to exit 42, then route 14 south into Geneva. After about 6 miles turn left onto Lake St and immediately bear left onto US 20. The Park will be about a mile down, on the right, on Park Road.
Note: A KOA reader reminds us that for a child who is still learning to use the potty, a swim diaper and plastic underwear need to be worn. The concession stand sells the plastic underwear if you forget yours.
