Youth Auditions for Geva's "A Christmas Carol"

Audition requirements:
- All children must be fully vaccinated and must provide proof of vaccination to audition, except for children auditioning for the role of Tiny Tim (see below).
- All participants must be 12 to 13 years old to audition, except for children auditioning for the role of Tiny Tim. Children who turn 14 years old before December 24, 2021 are not allowed to audition, according to AEA rules.
- Children auditioning for Tiny Tim must be masked at all times. They must not be taller than 4’2”. Any child who is cast in this role will be masked during performances.
Audition workshops:
Audition workshops (both a class and audition) will be held Thursday, October 14, and Saturday, October 16 (see below). Auditions will take place at the end of each workshop. There will be no callbacks. Participants should prepare up to one minute of a song. An accompanist will be provided. Participants are asked to bring piano music, if possible.
Thursday, October 14, 5 – 7 p.m. at Avenue Black Box Theater
Participants will sign up for one hour-long time slot, either 5 to 6 p.m. or 6 to 7 p.m. They will need to stay the entire hour. Each session is limited to 15 participants. To sign up, call Geva at 585-232-1366.
Saturday, October 16, 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Geva Theatre Center
Tiny Tim auditions will take place from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. All other participants will sign up for one hour-long time slot: 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. Each session is limited to 15 participants. Please note, only one parent or guardian will be permitted to accompany each participant inside the theatre. To sign up, call Geva at 585-232-1366.
